Recent weeks, I looking for different ways of lighting a scene. One of my favorite ways is through HDRI images and thanks to MotionGasm I found links to DeviantArt’s user, which provides for download 3 packages for free.

Well ok, but how to use HDRI’s in Cinema 4D. It’s very easy of course.
Just create a Sky Object and a new material. Apply this new material into the sky object and in the Luminance channel browse one of the HDRI images. For better result, you can crank up the luminance value, over 100.. maybe 200-250 is enough. And for even better result, activate in your render settings Ambient Occlusion and of course Global Illumination.

So AceKing, offering a very good software to play poker, and they need it and just as good logo, to be presented to the players. AceKing entrusted there logo design of DesignDevils.
The client’s desire was to have the most artistic logo, we can create.
The concept of the logo was entirely built on the 4 characters in the card game and specifically the character of clubs, which was requested by the client.
Clubs was combined with an appropriate crown to create a main logo sign for AceKing.
Then as an additional element reinforcing effect of the logo were 2 cards in their typical position in the game.

After several long weeks of work, finally left some time to post something at our blog.

DesignDevils participate in the competition at the biggest bulgarian forum for web business and communication – Predpriemach.com
They publish a contest to select a new logo of there forum.
The competition was in 2 parts, by a vote of users who chose the winner.
DesignDEVILS reached the finals, but it was another winner.

However, we decided to publish our entry here.
Well, the primarily forum topic is about business direction of the web industry, we decided that is the best logo to represent brave and daring entrepreneur.
The graphic style which is exactly what it must represent. Entrepreneur – a brave and bold, not afraid to start and develop his own business.

A few months ago I was walking into the mountain to a monastery and decided to do some pictures of wood textures.

Maybe you’ve already seen last opening intro for out tutorials. We decided that it was not enough and we needs to create something that would end these tutorials, or to be used as an intro for other videos.
This time, we attended by our logo, it is the main focus!
